Product Questions
Q.Will I be able to connect my new printer
straight away ?
A.There are a couple of things you need to consider
when purchasing a new printer, it is fairly standard
that most manufacturers don't ship USB/Parallel cables
with printers. These cables connect your printer to
your computer or network and unless you are running
a wireless system you will need a connection cable such
as this. Convergent are able to supply these and if
you want us to make things easier for you to get on
with your own priorities, we can organise, deliver,
install and provide user training for your equipment
anywhere in Australia.
Q. What do I need to consider when buying a
new printer?
A.Connectivity is something you need to think about.
You will need to know what type of connection is compatible
with your computer or network system that you are running.
USB is generally the most popular connection but you
need to check. Your manufacturers user manual or specification
guide should tell you this, but if you are not sure
you can always ask Convergent Resources to help you.
The volume you anticipate printing is also a consideration
you will need to think of, along with what you will
be printing and whether you need colour or not.
Think of what your needs are now ,and how they may change
in the future so that you can choose options that will
work in with what you are trying to achieve.
